I still wasn’t feeling good today. I went to the urgent care today after my state history final, and I have an ear infection in both ears. The ringing in my right ear is seriously driving me nuts. My children are still too sick for day care, so they stayed home. I did not go to my last day of organic even though it would have been fun since we were going to a Chinese restaurant. I turned in my notes for organic chemistry since I was a note taker for the learning and disability lab and I will get payed minimal wage for each other that I took notes. Can’t beat that, huh? I also gave information to my old physics professor to write a letter of recommendation for me for medical school.

I have the best parents in the world. They came over with food for my children, cleaned my house, spent time with my kids, and bathed my kids. We were supposed to have a party for D3′s birthday today. This was the next best thing. I would not have made it through today without my wonderful parents. Thank you, mom! I love you guys so much.

For the rest of the day, I’m just going to rest. I have work in the morning. I really hope that the ER is slow because it’s going to be a really rough day on me if it isn’t. Taking care of sick people when you are sick yourself is very nonproductive usually.

I haven’t slept from not feeling good. My ears hurt, my throat hurts, my chest hurts, my eyeballs hurt, my head hurts…well everything from my breasts up hurts! Just cleaning the feces in my boys’ room (yes how dare they smear feces all over their room on finals week, lol) made my heart tach away in the 140s and my ear is ringing like crazy. I’ve never had ringing ears before; I’m assuming that letting my friend practice on me all week for her CNP physical assessment final was a VERY bad idea. All my children have conjuctivitis and I’m assuming the same bug that I have. We are miserable.

I took my final for environmental science this morning and got a 95%. Tomorrow, I have my final in state history. I haven’t studied for it at all. Between feces and fealing like crap, I haven’t been able to focus enough to study. Well, I suppose I have until 8 AM in the morning to learn everything that I need to. I doubt if I will sleep any.

Tomorrow, my organic chemistry class is going to a Chinese restaurant for the last day. We will all be on the walk of shame list after that last test, lol. Tomorrow, we are also celebrating D3′s second birthday with my family.

I am done, done, done with organic forever…well except for the MCAT!

We are all sick. I was so sick, that while other people looked like they were going to cry during our organic chemistry final (exam + lab practical), I just wanted to go home. The final was very hard and was the hardest test that I have ever taken. I did, at one point during the test, just laugh because in a zillion bajillion years I would never be able to do those problems, lol. I hate you organic chem!

I need at least a 74% on that test to keep my “A” in organic. I’m not sure if it is going to happen. I am done now with my pre-medical requirements (except for a couple of schools that require biochem and genetics). After, the organic final, I took D2 (the sickest of the bunch) to the urgent care. I hope everyone starts feeling better soon.

I have two more finals to go, then I’m done with this semester. I hope that I can make it!

This is my final week completing my pre-medical requirements. Yay! I have a final in organic chemistry, environmental science, and state history left to go. After I finish these classes, my time will be devoted to MCAT preparation. In June, I submit my primary application for medical school. Yikes! It is all happening so quickly, but I love it!

The Mom and Tot sale on Saturday went well, and we made another 100 dollars for our trip to California that is coming up next week! Go moms!

Good luck this week to everyone taking their finals and happy Earth Day!

I took my oldest son with me to a meeting at my college celebrating Earth Day and the achievements made cleaning up the polluted rivers and lakes in my area. It was a wonderful presentation by John Hartig who is the author of Burning Rivers. My son did great doing the presentation except for some sneezing. Afterward, however, he was very embarrassing. In front of everyone, including my organic chemistry professor, he told me to throw his trash at the tree that I was standing by. Obviously, he was not paying any attention to the speaker. Other than that, I learned a few things about the efforts made to make the enviroment a better place and had a good time. Thank you, mom, for watching the little ones so D1 and I could have some special time together!

For this semester, I have left:

1) Final in ochem; 1 lab practical in ochem; 1 more lab report to write

2) Final in environmental science

3) Final in state history; 1 interview; 1 essay

4) A mom and tot sale for MASS so that we can further fund our Cali trip.

And then D3 celebrates her second birthday, and I will be going to California on a school trip. Yay! Not much more to go! Yipee!

D1 is still obsessed with playing Minecraft. He builds houses, barns, and water fountains. D2 is talking better, and D3 has been very moody. It snowed this week which was shocking (not really, haha) since it had been so warm the month before.
